Fishing at Moringa Bay Lodge

Boat hire is available with mandatory Moringa Bay skipper.
We operate Calypso Cats (Dual engine, double hull wet deck boats) for up to 4 Anglers plus a Moringa Bay Lodge skipper
Price per day – US$160 + fuel

Guests are welcome to bring their own boats. A $10 launching fee will be applied.
Guest boats will require a Boat licence which we can arrange at the Mozambique Maritime offices on the Lake (at no extra charge). This is provided Boat details are received in good time before date of arrival and if payment of these is included in Deposit payment.

Fishing Rod Licences

Fishing Rod licences can be processed by Moringa Bay Lodge for guests on request at no extra charge – price will be confirmed on request.

Price per Rod Licence: Currently US$7

Fishing rod hire not available.

Fishing sessions are based on an 8 hour day, split into 2 x 4hr sessions.

Extra hours will be billed pro rata.

Lures are supplied on our boats and billed on a use and lose basis.

Kapenta for baiting is available on request at $5/kg

Guests are recommended to bring their own worms as these are difficult to acquire in the area.
